Many people have supported the OpenSocial standard from the beginning. It was the year 2008 when the Belgian master student Jeroen Clerix (Media and Design Academy - Genk) came up with the idea to make OpenSocial integrate with Drupal.

During this master-year Clerix did a lot of research around OpenSocial/Drupal. It were the early days of OpenSocial and Drupal was at that time running on version 5. Clerix is not a coder himself, so he ended up with the guys at Solide - a small team of open source lovers, located in The Netherlands.
